Ignore Bad Reviews - We enjoyed Immensely
Loved the ship, cabins roomy, service generally very good. Restaurants - complimentary very good although could have a bit more variety. Hudsons had very good ambience because of large windows,. Commodore room not as popular - dimmer but same menu as Hudsons and easier to get a seat. Never a real wait for dining whether you wanted a table for two or would share. Cagneys and Italian both very good. Takes a while to find your way around ship . Entertainment very good overall - Fleetwood Mac Rumours show excellent. Magician good. Crew Bossa Nova show average unfortunately. Itinerary good with three ports, a sea day, three ports, sea day. Observation Lounge limited seating and all open areas crowded on sea days. With 3200 guests you would expect that. Plenty of entertainers, trivia, games etc on all day. Did not do Deal or No Deal/ Price is Right shows. I regard this as one of the best cruises we have done and we enjoy Freestyle dining etc with NCL. They tell you to take passport with you when going ashore which we did mostly but were never asked for it. We are already booked on another cruise with HAL next year but would have done with NCL but their itineraries did not suit. Would definitely cruise again with them and on PRIMA. I was initially put off by negative reviews but found a review on YouTube by a 'normal' type person not a 'professional' type. That normal review made me feel comfortable. Activities good, Service good, Cabins very good, Dining good. Disembarkation good. Airport transfer after cruise through NCL good. We did all our excursions through Get Your Guide or Trip Advisor and all were good and straightforward except some confusion re meeting point in Flam. Lots of families on the cruise. Ports were great except Amsterdam which was very dirty.

Engagement trip
We had a fantastic trip from embarkation to disembarking. The staff was friendly and attentive. Entertainment was top notch. We especially liked the Indulge Food Hall concept on the Prima. Being able to order from multiple styles of food in one location was very enjoyable. The ship layout creates numerous areas that keeps you from feeling crowded. If I had to find one flaw. The main pool could be a little bigger. A tip for specialty dining. We could only get a 9:30 reservation for Cagny's Steakhouse. I stopped at the reservation desk to see if anything earlier was able in the morning. They said they couldn't see cancelations but we could stop by the restaurant that evening and check. We stopped by at 7 and they were able to seat us right away. The overall experience was great. Easiest boarding and leaving the ship you could imagine. 45 minutes from walking in the terminal to having a drink in my hand. 30 minutes from leaving our room to being in our car on our way home.

Wonderful cruise on Prima for 8
This was a wonderful 7 day cruise with friends. We were a party of 8 and had no trouble getting dining reservations as well as getting a table for 8 in the main dining room. The staff was extremely friendly and addressed us by name on many occasions. Easiest embarkation ever in Galveston. First day on board was a little hectic as we found our way around the ship. Our balcony stateroom was good location, extremely spacious with plenty of room for storing our clothes, shoes etc. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom shower was very large. Good pillows and linens. The decor was beautiful with a modern feel. The atrium although small was the hub of the trip with many games and musical performances. The bar in the atrium was always busy but getting served was not a problem. The wait staff was great and personable. Specialty dining included Cagney, LeBistro and Husaki for hibachi. Loved Cagney and LeBistro hibachi Ok. Don’t order the steak. Or calamari, Very tough. Shrimp was excellent Nama Sushi house had a very small menu and does not do ala cart Only the $50 + 20% set price. If you want sushi go to the Republic. Local grill was great. It’s complimentary and the food is good. Open 24 hours. Racetrack open at sporadic hours so we did not try them out. I think a waste of valuable ship space. But that is just me. The pools are small but tolerable. Infinity hot tubs on Deck 8 very nice. Finding seating was not a problem other than right near the pool especially on sea days. Debarkstion went smooth We self assisted Line to get off ship long but ran smoothly. We were off the ship by 8:10. Used Patriot undercover parking. It was great.
