Faultless!! The Sun Princess is just magnificent

Faultless!! The staff and facilities of Sun Princess were absolutely impressive. We sailed 14 nights, and loved every minute. We had a deluxe balcony stateoom which we found thoughtfully designed and spacious! The bed was the most comfortable we have ever experienced!! Food was most satisfactory in the Eatery and The Eclipse Dining room was our favourite. Poolside option also just perfect for our taste. Good Spirits at Sea was our favourite bar, we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail demonstrations and highly commend Carnen and her team. Even though it is a large ship with many passengers, people move seemlessly around the ship and the elevators add to this ease. There was no shortage of entertainment and was aimed to please all interests. All staff helpful and friendly. Leo ensured our stateroom was cleaned and refreshed daily and he always made time to see how we were and if anything needed. I have no hesitation in recommending the Sun Princess and we will definitely cruise on her again., hopefully sooner rather than later

Amazing crew service, we having fun and very excitement events. Thankful to everyone especially to Norberto Gonzales, has a good performance and excellent service in dining. Hardworking person, humble and very polite person. We rate him 10 for his performance and successful service to us. Thank you so much. We are planning to go back and take the advantage. We love play games like bingo, dancing , peoples surround us, the motive, the entertainment and so much more..thank you for the amazing experience and wonderful time and very generous crew members to mingle with us. All the employees are hardworking, very patients, calm, sense of humour, amazing people and they are blessings to everyone. The cruise was so beautiful and perfect. Once again many thanks and keep up the good work. Was so impressive and excellent work. We rate 10 for the good work. God bless to everyone for the good work.

Lovely ship and a a great move for Princess

Have sailed many times with Princess on 10-20 year old ships which all have a similar vibe and character. The Sun is taking a big stepp forward, feeling more 'Celebrity smart'. Stateroom are lovely (and all we spoke.to agreed) , food has been a little.variable at times but feedback was welcomed and would give it a solid 4 stars overall. Whilst full, The Sun has never felt overcrowded, with always somewhere a little quieter to escape to. Dome seems underused currently (unsure why) for what is cool venue but Piazza and on deck entertainment good and fun. Didn't see any shows in the arena (which seems a tad small for a ship this size) but made good returns in the Casino! Yes, she's a change from the older ships but adds welcome variety to the fleet. Always could find a sun lounger (as opposed to losing will to live on Sky Princess last summer), hot.tubs are now plentiful and pools seem.somewhat heated compared to older ships (about time). I wouldn't listen to too many of the negative reviews as I suspect some just find change painful. Come, explore and enjoy the new despite her still going through some growing pains, and finding her soul.
