Wonderful Experience.

There were many activities to take part of on the cruise such as watching violin players, watching performances in the spectacular theatre which was very entertaining. And watching small performances occurring around the ship such as guitar playing near the casino. The cabin was great, very comfy and clean room. The dining was the excellent part. The menu had a wide list of different foods to choose from in which each night the menu changed so you could pick a variety of food. The staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic making the place much more wonderful. The service was quite enjoyable since staff on the boat were very kind. The ship had a three different children's clubs for each age section, which lets the kids get along with each other very well. The disembarkation was smooth as all you needed to do is collect your luggage and walk follow guides that staff give you.

Absolute Fun Ship

We cruised Carnival Splendor to surprise my Sister on her 70th Birthday ! As much as we loved this cruise we did find it a bit kaotic with our dining room experience. We wanted to make Bevs birthday dinner special with all our party of 17 to sit together but unfortunately no staff in the dining room made any effort to make this happen. It wasn’t until my nephew handed a $100 tip were we able to make our reservation for the next night which was the day after her birthday:( You shouldn’t have to tip this much to get good service !! Hats off to all the table waiters they went above and beyond to make our dining for the rest of our cruise a delightful and very special experience! Our cabin was deck highly recommend it for the convenient access to the public pool and bar, buffet and restaurants Prime spot we would definitely pick again. Entertainment in the theatres were a bit of a downgrade from what we are used to seeing aboard other Ships! Overall it was a fun four nights and the Moreton Bay shore trip was amazing:) I would recommend this cruise. Cheers

Great first cruise experience

Great first cruise experienceWe 7 families embarked the Carnival Splendour to Nounmea and mystery Island. The trip was more successful and fun than expected. Endless entertainment and food options. Food quality was very decent. Staff are hard-working and friendly. From the Black Pearl restaurant, Dedy and the Indonesian team was the best server ever. Casino was very fun for the dads. Plenty of public seating options where we can organise our own card games. The mums enjoyed the fitness and massage sessions. Albeit a bit expensive, the massage was worth it. Since we have many kids in the party, they can largely entertain themselves, so only occasionally we send them to the kids clubs. The various formal dressing nights were fun. Embarking was ok. Debarking was way faster than we thought. The islands were beautiful and pristine, except for Noumea which didn't offer much of a tropical vibe. We will be back

A great, cheap, first trip

For a first time cruise and a much-needed break, it was great. Yes. as other reviewers state, it is a very Aussie bogan cruise, which i don't mind. You get what you pay for!!! I'm only 25 and single, and its demographic is clearly seniors and families. Regardless of that, you will make friends and everything is simple and easy. I am disabled, so travel can be a daunting thing. Everything was great and accessible. I do not use a wheelchair, but if you do, you will need to be aware of accessible bathrooms as general access bathrooms are not accessible. Just due to space. Other than that, everything was up to aus standards. Food and drink was perfect and prices of alcohol was really not that bad considering a beer is 18 bucks in Sydney. I would for sure reccomend it for anyone looking to get into cruising. It has made me ready and excited to do more intensive cruises overseas. A standout of this cruise was all the really nice staff especially Komang and drinks attendants on the aft deck 9 serenity bar.
