MSC World America is the best
This is my 31 Th cruise is is my favor ship so far.The ship is so beautiful on desk 8 where the light and palm tree show are my favor spot, they have so many free yoga class in the morning at 2 at 4 and 5 in the evening everyday this is the only ship I see is free some of the class is good just show up they have mat for you.The entertainment in theater and the panoramic both are the best at sea top not, lot of thing to do I never have enough time to enjoy it all. Lot of time I have to skip dinning in main Restaurant so I can go to the event. I don't know why people never happy alway give Msc bad review maybe they don't like don't like because is not their American cruise line. I did go with many cruise line. Carnival for me were the worse even I go on Carnival Mardigrass when is were new were horrible lunch and dinner buffet have nothing to choose street food some just o.k and restaurant free to eat only few menu o.k and not much thing go on for entertainment and party at night or compare to Msc cruise but they rate Carnival very high . I just don't know why I think it because they are American cruise line . The only cruise line I have not go is Princess, Virgin and holland, MSC is my favor cruise line so many thing to do and love the music, they have the best music and DJ never feel boring the entertainment team are always the best to get you in the party mood, on this ship the panoramic theater will turn into a night club at night until 2-4 in the morning is the most nicest club at sea. If you are a party person don't miss all the party at night they have specially white party and the 60 70 80 party and tropical party is so much fun. they have the best live band music I love the sunshine band is my favor. love they have the most elevator at sea never wait long. both theater you are alway can get in after all reservation people if you get in early right after you will have sit in panoramic I never have problem to find sit even I don't have reservation. people complain can't get drink during the show in both theater, wow there are ton of hundred people watching the show for only short 45 minutes so crown of people and you expect to serve drink during the show go and get your own drink please no complain some cruise line theater don't even allow you drink in there. With NCL you hardly to get ien to see show if you don't have reservation. For the food they have very good prime rip and steak the best to compare my hudband very picky on the beef but beef on this ship are the best. MSC add more free food and wing, fry and pizza till 2:00 am at desk 7 or desk 6 which is very good. the pizza are alway good. We have lobster for two night one in main dinning room and one on last night in the buffet maybe is a new ship. we went on rob course is nice love the two zip line, the water slice we went on a port day so there is no line which is very good we did try swing one time is good to get the experience, we see people do roller skate and bumber car and pickle ball which we did not do, Msc world America have the most pool chair big nice hot tub every where you always can find chair and get in hot tub and in the cover pool is have so many nice lough chair bed and always chair for you look so high end, they invest in so many entertainment for every age. My daughter is 22 is her 29 cruise and she love this ship the most for her even compare to royal is more fun at night on msc then royal at night lot of ship on Royal at night is so boring some of show I walk in and walk out no good music or party at night at all. on some ship, I known a couple they go on cruise ship 10 month out of 12 year to year back to back each time they go they stay on ship for 4 to 6 week. I just saw them again on Msc Word America they stay for 6 week and they just come back on Icon of the sea I ask them to compare. They both say they love the best MSC world america of everything and MSC always their favor, they always stay in the Yacht club. If you don't enjoy music, show, entertainment, party and dancing or go to lay out pool and hot tub, msc have the most nice pool and many hot tub around the ship compare to other, then MSC is not for you if you just want relax eat and sleep may be just go see one or couple show for the whole cruise then maybe go on royal food maybe good for you but the money you paid will be high. normal I don't like do review but this time I feel I have to write some with my 31 cruise experience. people always complain food and thing these people love to complaint and they feel MSC is their mother in law that why!!! for the food the worse is Royal grandure of the sea food were horrible for the 7 night and Anthem of the sea food in dinning are good but at night is so boring show are boring walk in walk out event my two teen and over 22 year old at night no music or party at all only one night sillen disco for 45 munites that all for the 7 night cruise no night club or entertaiment team at all. compare to my 31 cruise and the best food is MSC Peosia , but back then the entertainment on this ship is not good compare to now.

MSC IS MOVING UP UP UP!
MSC is not in the stock market and I believe that MSC will continue to grow even bigger than RC, NCL and Carnival. I believe people write bad reviews for MSC because they own stock and can see how GREAT MSC is becoming and soon MSC could be the best cruise line to sail. The comp food on MSC World America was a solid 10 from the prime rib, fresh veggies, beef tenderloin, Alaskan Salmon, pork belly, BBQ ribs, to the sweets, soft serve ice cream, fresh pressed juices, coffees etc...... food on MSC World America was excellent and I hope MSC adds more places to grab food like they have on World America on their other ships so there are more food options. I've sailed on Seascape and that was a solid 9 for the food, Meravilglia was only a 7 out of 10 for food but the ship was amazing, shows on MSC World America and other MSC ships we've sailed on are excellent, especially the Queen show and Dirty Dancing Matinee on MSC World America, though ALL MSC ships have great entertainment and they have it every night and often too. MSC prices are at least 50% to 70% less than NCL & RC, even less than Carnival. If you haven't tried MSC, just do it. The Aurea Exp was new to us and we enjoyed our ocean view infinity Aurea suite. The Top 20 Solarium was an extra perk, the Thermal Spa was amazing. We booked our 4th MSC cruise on World America, we need another week on her then we'll be booking Grandiosa out of Port Canaveral in 2026. GO MSC!

MSC Very Impressive!
Don’t believe the negative reviews of MSC. MSC provides an amazing cruise experience at a terrific price. When I read some of the reviews on here, wow, were those folks on the same ship? Travel, dining and hospitality are subjective. A lot of folks love to whine. I’m surprised there aren’t more positive reviews on this ship because there were 5000+ other people on our cruise who looked like they were having a ball. This was our 19th overall cruise and 3rd with MSC. We’ve sailed on all the major lines and MSC is one of the best. Their ships are upscale and new. Their finishes, from walls to carpet to furniture to bedding, fabrics, public spaces and everything else, are top of the line. Their ships feel more luxurious and less plastic-y than some of the others. Although there are tons of activities for kids, MSC feels more adult. The World America is amazing, inside and out. It’s majestic from a distance and beautiful when you get onboard. The theaters are excellent. Lighting, sound, technical features, seating, access and everything about the experience is terrific. The aft theater (Panorama Lounge) has huge, retractable panels across the back windows that go down for shows, where they act as giant screens, and up during the day so you can watch the ship’s wake. The shows were mostly great, certainly on par with other ships of this caliber. The cruise director-emceed shows were a lot of fun. The cruise director (Dr. E) is funny and engaging. Between his informative announcements, smooth personality, and seeming to be everywhere at once, he enhances the cruise. The musical acts were A+. The comedians were B-. It’s a good idea to make reservations for the shows and MSC has large touchscreen boards all over the ship where you can make theater, restaurant and spa reservations in about 15 seconds, plus find out everything going on all over the ship. The boards are super handy and, best of all, they actually worked every time! The spa goes on forever with so many rooms and every kind of thermal, relaxing atmosphere. The casino is nice, on par with other lines. We thought it was non-smoking since we never smelled smoke but after we got home, discovered the smoking section is apparently separate. The gym is excellent, bigger than most land-based gyms and has a beautiful view overlooking the main pool. The main atrium is very cool, with shops, bars and restaurants. The ceiling is one continuous LED display with different videos and patterns going 24/7. I felt the LED display could be utilized better for parties and entertainment but we may have been at other activities or shows when these occurred. The ship does a good job of spreading people out. With this many passengers, you expect crowds and lines but only the buffet ever really feels crowded. There are two express elevators on the promenade that stop only on deck 8 and the uppermost decks. These were convenient for getting to and from the main decks quickly. Unfortunately, there isn’t an outside, lower deck for just walking or sitting. There’s the promenade but most other ships have an outside deck that goes all the way around, or nearly all the way around, where you can walk or just sit in the shade and watch the ocean go by. World America doesn’t really have that. There is some limited, shaded seating outside some of the bars and restaurants but otherwise it’s up to deck 18 where it can be busy and hot. Interesting note, the ship runs on liquid natural gas. As a result, you never see or smell anything coming out of the exhaust stacks. Two thumbs up. We did the behind the scenes ship tour which visits the bridge, engine control room, galley, laundry, provisions rooms, and backstage main theater. One of the best excursions you can do on a cruise. You see the massive amount of coordination and logistics that go into making your cruise as smooth as possible. We are Diamond level voyagers club members and that actually gives you some valuable perks. We got a free dinner at any specialty restaurant, free bottle of champagne, free hour of thermal spa time each, free drinks and meet and greet with the captain and other officers (very entertaining and informative presentation), free F1 simulator ride each and, complimentary chocolates, birthday cake and robe & slippers. We were surprised and appreciative at the level of perks, along with the ease of actually using them. The only specialty restaurant we tried was Butcher’s Cut but it was excellent. Definitely feels like an upscale steakhouse and the service was 5-star. We had purchased the drinks and wifi package which, compared to the price on other lines, is an amazing bargain. We loved trying new drinks and having the convenience of grabbing a wine, beer or cocktail anytime. A negative here: the bars are slow, even if you’re the only one there. The process, from engaging a busy bartender, ordering, presenting your cruise card and having your drink in hand, is slow and inefficient. 99% of the time we were ordering only beer or wine, nothing fancy or multi-ingredient. Slow bars are a problem on almost every other cruise line so you’d think someone would figure this out. The wifi and MSC for Me app are spotty but no worse than other lines. The food in the buffet was quite good and we were surprised by the daily variety, discovering new dishes every day. The food in the main dining room was really good and we enjoyed almost every dinner there. The other food venues scattered around the ship are ok if you like fast food type fare. The pizza is good but could be crispier. Service at all the food venues, especially the main dining room (Alexander, Reymond & Dawn), is superb. They kept our wine glasses full and delivered delicious food and excellent service. The main dining employees did a music/dance number one night that was so fun. Conga line and all. There’s a brewpub called “Master of the Seas,” which turned out to be one of our favorite and least favorite venues for different reasons. Favorite because the bartenders were fast, efficient and friendly. You had your drink in hand in about 15 seconds. Least favorite because our cabin was directly above it and, whether you wanted to or not, you could hear and feel the bar bands until exactly 12:30 a.m. I almost miss hearing “Friends in low places” vibrating up through the floor. Our cabin and steward were great but the closet is small for a 7 nighter. Clothes on a normal size wire hanger from home get in the way of closing the sliding door. The itinerary was typical Caribbean. Most stops are similar; beaches, shops and similar onshore and offshore activities. We walked off the ship in both San Juan and Puerto Plata and picked up surprisingly good riding and walking tours in both places. The diamond-in-the-rough stop, though, is MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay. It’s a unique, fun island getaway. It has everything from drinks to food to water toys to lounge chairs and FREE shade under the palm trees. It’s not Disneyland like some of the other private islands but that’s the best part. The island and the ocean here are beautiful. Ten shades of blue water and you’re almost guaranteed to see some type of marine life as you snorkel. Also, it’s easy and relaxing to walk the whole island. There are places where you can hang with the crowds and play beach volleyball, and places where you feel like you’re almost alone. I discovered an interesting example of MSC going the extra step here. They had commissioned an exclusive beer from a brewer in Miami to commemorate the launching of World America. La Tropical amber lager from Wynwood Brewery. The label has brightly colored cruise ships, palm trees, flamingos, “MSC” and “World America” on it. The beer was great and such a unique touch because you can’t get it anywhere else but an MSC cruise. The new terminal in Miami is wow and super smooth. From the time your ride drops you off and the handlers take your luggage, you never really stop walking through the terminal and onto the ship. Drop-off to onboard is about 10 minutes and that’s mostly because the terminal is big. We walked around taking in the technology and the newness. There are areas in the parking garage from which you get a great view of the ship. Disembarkation was super smooth. We had breakfast, walked around the ship, then back to the room and walked off with our luggage. Bottom line, we loved the ship, the service and the cruise. We’ve already booked our next MSC cruise and are looking very forward to it.
