The most suitable location is usually a cabin in the middle of the ship, close to the waterline on a lower deck. This area tends to experience less movement than the front or back of the ship and higher decks, which can make it a more comfortable choice if you are prone to seasickness.

A midship cabin is close to the ship's centre of balance, where side-to-side movement is generally less noticeable. Cabins at the front and rear may feel more movement, particularly in rougher seas, so they are usually less suitable if you are concerned about seasickness.
