Depending on the cruise line, a room with a view can have lots of different names, but not to worry- they are all pretty much the same thing: a cabin with a window or porthole to let in the natural light.
Some come with a porthole, some with a window, some with floor to ceiling glass. Some look into the ship and some look out to the ocean... and just as in a hotel, some come with an obstructed view, possibly a lifeboat or part of the ship structure - you can check this by looking at the deck plan before you book your holiday.
And if you want to spend a little more you can always upgrade to a balcony!
