Loved the cruise, will cruise again on MSC
cruised on Princess 3 months ago and cruised MSC now. What a difference, MSC was really a great experience for me and kids. There is a waterpark inside the ship as well. The food is much improved and great variety every day at the buffet The white party was icing on the cake and we just loved the "different kind " of party at the MSC. The DJ was awesome. We also attended a few shows at the theater and you have to make reservations ahead of time. The live music was outstanding. The Rooms are of decent size and we had a sofa bed instead of a pull down. The Airconditioner inside the room was outstanding, really kept it chilled cold. The only downside i saw was that they dont allow a bottle of wine per person and you cant get soda. The internet package - once you register a device you cannot switch it.

Another great Celebrity cruise
This was our second time on Celebrity and it definitely won't be our last. Our first sailing was Silhouette, so this ship is very similar, and, in fact, we booked basically the same room, Sunset Concierge. While a bit of a walk to the elevator, the view is worth it to us! We didn't eat in the MDR, as we were a bit tired after being off the ship at port days, but we enjoyed both the buffet and the Mast Grill. We spent a good bit of time at the Sunset bar, it was so relaxing. We did some trivia and saw the comedian, who was pretty funny and worth seeing. We did our own thing in Key West and enjoyed a little bar hopping and lunch at Sloppy Joe's. Being a holiday weekend, it was pretty busy, but had a great time. We did a private tour in Bimini, which was nice, as it was our first time, but if we ever go back, we would just do a beach day at Radio Beach (Resort World seems overpriced) or stay on ship. There were more teenagers on this cruise, which ended up not being a big deal, but one reason we like Celebrity is to not see so many kids and teens. But, it was all fine. Overall, we had a nice, relaxing cruise. This ship doesn't have tons of entertainment as some larger ships we've sailed like Utopia or Allure on RCL, but the trade off is worth it to have a more laid back atmosphere and less children. We are already looking at options to book again. My only complaint was that 3 days wasn't long enough! :)

Inaugural Circumnavigation of Japan
This was our first cruise experience with the Scenic group and the Eclipse II. What a wonderful and very attractive vessel. Sleek and well appointed, crewed by friendly professional and courteous staff embarkation was smooth and efficient. From George our butler Danielle our house keeper to Cronica, Don, Patience, Lauren, Abdul, Pricisia, Izabella, Daniel, Natalie and many more we were ensured a safe comfortable journey with our every need provided. What drew us to Scenic was their passenger count of a maximum 200 guests and smaller excursion groups. This made each shore experience more intimate and informative. With no sea days on this voyage making use of the very small exercise gym meant waking earlier each day. My wife and I travel extremely light so the addition of another guest laundry would have also been a bonus. During this cruise the Eclipse II was under going maintenance and despite the notification and probable unscheduled nature many passengers were inconvenienced and disappointed of its’ occurance. Everyone from the captain to passengers hopes for a smooth sail and every trip has a rough day or two it’s to be expected. During “rough days” the ceiling panel adjacent to the mirrored wall continually creeked. On the very bright side, the nicest weather day prompted a delightful barbecue at the Yacht Club. Further more a pop up sushi night and a gourmet extravganza were held ! I would suggest hosting more of these and making them destination related as they’re very fun and it would enable all the passengers to participate ! Approaching the end of this wonderful journey disembarkation was made easy by color coded tags and times, no rude awakenings during the wee hours of the morning. Thank you Scenic Eclipse II for this absolutely wonderful experience.
