It’s been a minute

I just went on the stars of the seas cruise on the weekend of august 20-23, and I got to say it was the best weekend of my life. I want to give a shoutout to my server Michael and Rey they really knew how to make a guy feel special at dinner including the room service, Fernando who made sure my room was good to go after I ran in the mornings! The shows were a hit!!! And the food across the whole ship was amazing! I did not spend to much time at our stop at coco cay, and took a huge lost in the casino :(. But my trip over all was a success!! Trevor singing at karaoke and seeing many more crew members helping everyone to have an amazing night every night! I am not a royal Caribbean regular this was my first time in a long time but as a 31 year old my vacation was to good to be true and I hope to see you guys really soon!! Thank you for all you guys do, crew members you truly made my the best days and nights of life! Lol i could have cried getting off the ship I had so much fun, thank you for the moments! I apologize for not tipping well but i promise because of you guys I will not spend it all in the casinos next time! Lol and I’ll bring my friends next time so we can even have a better time!

Bucket list Trip

Wonderful experience. The service was beyond amazing. The educational aspect provided by Viking makes the cruise complete. Great views; great food and selections, knowledgeable staff, educational experiences on board and excursions, the trip of a lifetime! The cabin was perfect! Lots of room when lounging away from the ships daily activities for real peaceful times. Sitting on the veranda while traveling or when docked in a harbor is really relaxing. While on the veranda we watched Orcas and humpback whales, passing ships and boats, and glaciers. The veranda was truly worth the price and experience. The food service was wonderful. There were three different restaurants that could be reserved. We chose to eat at two of the restaurants and found them wonderful. However we chose to eat the majority of our meals at the cafe. The cafe was a huge buffet with crazy good choices for each meal. They opened early for us early risers and stayed open late in the evening. The choices for each serving was spectacular. Plenty of seating with views of the ocean or mountains while enjoying a great variety of food. The choices were many but surprisingly very good.

First Cruise: Above and Beyond Expectations

It was my boyfriend and I’s first cruise together, and even tho this was the smallest ship, we didn’t know til it was told to us! We had an amazing time, and the staff is very very friendly!! Special shoutout to Olga (our housekeeper) and Joachim (late night bartender at Boleros)!! Olga is such a lovely person and decorated our room so cute for our anniversary!! She also has a cute touch to the room when we leave for the day to do activities. Joachim has a great memory, very personable and funny. my go-to order is a vodka soda with salt + lime, and he saw I got one from another bar with no salt, and poured my drink in another cup and added salt and a bunch of limes!! All the crew members however will SOSOSO nice. Another shoutout to Bobby and Lisa!!!! Bobby knows how to light up a room. And Lisa was especially hilarious during “Battle of the Sexes”. The buffet… has SO much to offer. So many varieties of cuisines to choose from that my boyfriend and I overate the whole week. The Indian food was beyond amazing, along with the Jamaican food. It’s the perfect place to try a different cultures’ food! They also have American food (burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders) if you are not feeling very adventurous. And they have an ice cream machine, which we took full advantage of. The food overall was great! You can never be board because they have something going on every minute! We personally enjoyed the Studio B events along with Latin dancing and the Casino. Or if we didn’t want to participate in the events, we would play board games in the libraries or play ping pong. There wasnt a time were we felt board. Honorable mentions to Christina and Ericka at the Casino for being amazing dealers! For a first cruise, it was definitely enjoyable and we plan to book again for next year.
