Celestyal Journey
The Celestyal Journey holds true to what we know works well for our guests. We’ve never been fans of big is best, and the Celestyal Journey continues our philosophy that mid-sized ships are the perfect way to discover the incredible experiences this special region has to offer by visiting all the amazing destinations that the larger vessels can’t.
We’re in love with our new ship and we can’t wait for you to fall in love with her too. Sign up now for more news as we approach the grand unveiling where we hope you’ll be among the first to set sail with us.
The Celestyal Journey will open its fabulous doors just in time to catch the late summer sun and will include: 149 Balconies – over 28 magical Suites – 120 Junior Suites – and a stunning Penthouse Suite to journey in style. There will be a far bigger range of dining options, featuring 7 separate venues – with an amazing Chef’s Table – and 8 themed bars where we’ll expand our range of beverages, including our exclusive Signature Cocktails.

First Time River Cruise and IT WAS AMAZING
We booked the trip (3 couples) to celebrate our 30 yrs anniversary, we were skeptical but by day 2 we knew this was the right decision. Wonderful, friendly and professional crew, nice accommodations, very good food, the itinerary allows you to see a lot but also to relax and the atmosphere is great, the included excursions were excellent and allow you to see the towns/ regions in a very different way, they make it very easy to embark and disembark, the whole thing felt relaxed and very well organized. We will do this again. We highly recommend avalon! Saya, gizem, eric, elias, oana, samir and david tested us extremely well and all times they made us feel as valued customers, what an amazing experience!! Cheers to sail again. The captain was always visible and open to answer any questions, the way they planned the itenerary allowed us to enjoy the cities and towns but also relaxed on the deck and see the beauty in the rhine coast.

Excellent experience on Magaritaville
We have cruised over thirty times on various cruise lines. This cruise was equal to other larger cruise lines. I will go over the various positives and negatives. The Embarcation and disembarkation were quick and painless. Our check in was at 10:30. We were on board by 10:50. We met for disembarkation at 6:45 AM. We were in our car at 7:10 AM. B We were in a suite. It was huge with a large balcony. The balcony had two loungers. two chairs and a table. The bathroom had two sinks. It had a 10 inch diameter rain shower head in the shower. The bathroom along with the rest of the cabin was spotless. This cruise line is still servicing the cabin twice a day unlike most of the bigger cruise lines. We stopped at Key West and Cozumel. Did our own thing so can't comment on excursions. We ate in the dining room for breakfast and dinner. We had an expanded menu for dinner because of being in a suite. Different menu every night. Never had a bad meal. Breakfast had the same menu every day. The Eggs Benedict were my favorite. We only ate once in the buffet. It was disgusting. We went to all the shows. The comedian was great. The two stage shows were good. The magician was horrible. The pool area was busy like all cruise lines. However. away from the pool you could find a lounger with no problem. All in all, this ship is worth the money.

Celebrity is awesome, Tuscan Grille, not so much.
The cruise was awesome. Crew we pleasant, food was good for the most part. Tuscan grill was extremely disappointing. My appetiser didn't come until after my entree, I had to ask for it then. My steak was supposed to be a 12 oz ribeye medium rare. I think It was a 6 oz strip. I should have sent it back, that's on me. We didn't eat at any of the other dinning rooms. The buffet was the largest buffet I have ever seen on any cruise ship. They changed the menu daily so it wasn't the same everyday. The food on the buffet was really good and the variety was great. There is something for everyone. The ship size is perfect, not too big not too small. We didn't go to the show's so I can't speak to that. Overall, the cruise was awesome, we will be going on celebrity again.
