No longer Virgins on Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady
Virgin really did offer that restful vacation my husband and I needed. A cruise without children was especially nice and really helped keep down my anxiety. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE children but I just didn't want to be in situations where I made decisions on others by what they did or did not do as I would do with my own children. Lines moved faster, eating dinner was calmer and the overall atmosphere was just great. We saw a few shows on the cruise, while one was just ok, the other was really great. But I really like the intimacy in the spaces since Virgin can offer smaller crowds. The restaurants were good and if there was anything off they were very responsive to hear us and wanted to make changes right away. I like that everything is pretty much included, not such an al la cart type thing that most ships have. Also, this shiping line is more casual or wear what you want type of thing. No need for high heels and tight dresses....unless that is what you want to wear. You do your own thing and everyone is totally cool with that. (Who wants to wear high heels after you were on a tour all day anyways?) Getting on and off the ships were so easy and I really like the key pass bracelets they give you that work everything from your room door to purchasing items in the shops. All in all we really enjoyed our experience with Virgin Voyages and have already placed money down for our next cruise to use within 2 years. Trying for Croatia location next.

A Virgin Celebration Voyage Greece and Turkey
Great food and variety With Test Kitchen, Gunbae, Extra Virgin, Pink Agave, Razzle Dazzle & the Galley. I suggest trying out the Ship Eats room delivery service at least once. Try a little of everything. The Nutella french toast is great for sharing. Clean and organized cabin with some nice tech. The curtains and lights are all controllable via tablet. The cabin service has been solid on all of our Virgin Voyages cruises. Entertainment has been continually improving. "Lola's Library" is a must watch. A bit risqué in both language, subject matter, and costume design, so not for the prude, but highly entertaining. Persephone is a new show as well, standing room only, but great fun, choreography and singing. The tips, wifi, fitness classes AND specialty dining all being included in the fare is a game changer. You don't feel like you're missing out since you can try it all. I'm looking forward to booking my next cruise with VV.

Fantastic Celebration Voyage from Athens on Virgin
This was our 3rd cruise on Resilient Lady and with Virgin Voyages in 47 days. And what a cruise it was! All the ports - Istanbul for 2 days, Kusadasi/Ephesus, Rhodes, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Athens - were fantastic. And what a great way to see all these historic and beautiful cities. The crew were absolutely amazing, the food was fantastic and we met some awesome people. Because it was a celebration voyage, the COO, CEO and some senior VPs were on giving tours/talks, accompanying excursions as well as joining in the fun and revelry. Kathy Sledge (of Sister Sledge) was a headliner for Scarlet Night. The pool deck was buzzing with all the music and dancing. Virgin Voyages is an adult only cruise - which we thoroughly enjoyed. You can be as busy as you want or relax as much as you want - it, literally, is “you do you”. They, also, cater to your inner child with a social club serving carnival food such as popcorn and pretzels, an arcade, an ice cream parlor, and a huge picture for all sailors to color during the voyage. We had a lot of fun, made a lot of memories and are looking forward to our next cruise with them.
