MARDI GRAS: FUN-FUELED VACATION INNOVATION POWERED BY LNG
When we launched our first ship, 1972's TSS Mardi Gras, we made cruising a lot less stuffy, a bit less fancy, the kind of fun everybody could enjoy. Nobody expected this ship to change the cruise world, but... here we are! So here’s a brand-new ship with a familiar name. With this Mardi Gras™ we aren't just paying homage to our first ship — in cruising circles this name suggests innovation, signals the start of something big. Oh, and this Mardi Gras still shouts “fun!” at the top of its lungs. This ship introduces Zones — six themed areas packed with brand-new experiences for eating, drinking and spectacularly getting down to fun. There's BOLT™, the first-ever rollercoaster at sea, Emeril's Bistro 1396™ from yes-that-Emeril, Family Feud™ Live for everybody... plus incredible new bars like The Brass Magnolia and Fortune Teller. Everybody can enjoy Mardi Gras, sailing now. Come on down!

Full fun service
Me, my whole family, and my nephews and nieces all had a great time and memories that will last a lifetime, not only were the beaches, fantastic and family, friendly, but they were as good as something you would see in a movie or on a calendar, the nonstop entertainment, as well asthe service on the boat was top-notch our room service putra was extremely kind, courteous and friendly, and always put a smile on my face. She also loved the little animals who would make with the towels he went above and beyond to remember each, and one of our names definitely give him a raise as well as every service member on that boat even the cleaners, they work extremely hard compared to us Americans also our waiters Nyoman, Aryadana, The dining experience was five star along with their attention that they gave us and kind personalities that were very genuine. We still talk about these three names to this day because of the lasting memory they put on our hearts and their incredible dance moves. They made the experience on the carnival cruise that much better.

Mardi Gras - Our best cruise yet!
By far, the best cruise yet! We’ve only been on 9, five of which were Carnvial and four which were Royal Caribbean. From a super easy embarkation process, to the last day on board, we were incredibly impressed. Staff were so very nice, ship was impeccably maintained, entertainment was superb (always something to see or do if so inclined), the performers were the best we have ever experienced on a ship. I seriously mean of Broadway caliber. The food did not disappoint and the choices were enough to satisfy anyone I feel. And the cruise director, Rainier, he was amazing. High energy, so whitty, so knowledgeable, and truly engaged. There was not a single team member we encountered that wasn’t pleasant, helpful, and truly seemed to enjoy their jobs! Tho I am one who likes to try different ships, we will definitely consider this ship again for our next cruise!

Mardi Gras Jan '25 Cozumel, Costa Maya, Honduras
Jan 4th 2025 Mardi Gras mini review As I keep a cruise diary on all my trips this is just a quick recap of some of the points or activities I enjoyed. Cruising with me is my son we are from NC. It was fantastic to get away from the central NC winter and bask in the warmth of the Caribbean for a week. No issues with the ship or service, both were wonderful. My son entered a few Lido deck activities and really enjoyed them. There was no shortage of activities or things to do on the ship. Ducks were abundant. Actually ended up with a few of them. I was talking to a lady who brought a few hundred to put out on the ship over the course of the 7 day cruise. Took in Fahrenheit 555 steak house-delicious, a few of the play list production shows and the casino. Really, there is no shortage of events or activities at any time day or night- the fun times (or the Carnival Hub App) puts it all at your finger tips. Overall a fantastic experience. We met some fantastic fellow cruisers and enjoyed the vacation in its entirety. Fantastic memories made. I will have no problem booking another trip.
