CARNIVAL JUBILEE: NEXT-LEVEL FUN, POWERED BY LNG
Hey, welcome to Carnival Jubilee! The ship that’s following in the fun footsteps of Mardi Gras® and Carnival Celebration® has some big flip-flops to fill, and you can count on Carnival Jubilee® to take things to the next level with six “zones” of fun. Zones are areas themed to transform your vacation into a unique mix of experiences — hop from zone to zone throughout your day to make your own. Bolt Ultimate Sea Coaster
Plenty of folks come to a Carnival cruise ready to chill, but if it’s a thrill you’re seeking, this is also the vacation for you. Meet BOLT™: the fastest — and first! — rollercoaster at sea. Strap in and zoom your motorcycle-style speed machine around an open-air course high, high above sea level. You know how on most rollercoasters... actually, never mind. Forget other coasters because this all-electric thrill ride puts you in the driver’s seat. That means you actually get to control how fast you go, so hit the gas and try for the fastest time, go for the biggest thrill — plus some amazing 360° ocean views! That’s why we call this the Ultimate Sea Coaster™. And for the folks who choose to chill: go light on the pedal, and this just might be the coaster for you!

Havana Bar
A spot that's intriguing by night and friendly anytime, step into the Havana Bar™ and be transported to antebellum Cuba preserved today in old postcards, vintage literature… and classic delicacies. Take in great ocean views as you try something authentically Cuban, like café Cubano (that’s Cuban coffee!) or handcrafted Cuban cocktails (think daiquiris, mojitos and more). And this spot definitely doesn’t cool down when the sun goes down, with music and dancing keeping things hot well into the night.
Dining Options

Dining Room
“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s filling, but never stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert. Dessert’s included (along with the rest of your meal, by the way) in your fare. But don’t skip straight to dessert, because the main course is the main attraction — drop in daily and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favourites like steak, roasted duck, scallops and prime rib.
Tip: When you book, choose Early Dining or Late Dining for reserved seating nightly, or go with Your Time Dining to chow whenever the clock strikes “hungry.”
Dining Room Breakfast -
If looking forward to the whole day of fun that’s ahead isn’t enough to make an early riser out of you, we have something else that’s sure to do the trick. Join us for breakfast in the main dining room and sit down to the kind of menu that might make you want to start things off a little slow. Order up some eggs any way you like them… even benedict- or omelet-style with your choice of filling. Get pancakes, waffles or french toast hot off the griddle — each comes with a surprising and delicious flavor twist like vanilla, pecan or salted caramel. There’s breakfast standards like oatmeal, granola and a generous selection of fresh fruits and cereals. Add crispy bacon, awesome sausage — which is actually the only kind — or ham to any dish… or go for more of a curated flavour with a selection of breakfast entrees, including some lighter choices.
If you’re thinking that’s all nice, but who has time for all this… you do! The very first item on the menu is a plate that kicks your day off with an express selection of all the classics.
Steakhouse Selections
Whoever said you can’t always get what you want certainly never said it on a Carnival cruise. Odds are that something from our steakhouse sounds good — filet mignon, New York Strip, lobster or surf & turf — and you know what? Now you can get these signature steakhouse dishes on your plate anytime you’re enjoying dinner in our lively main dining room. Whether you’re with friends, have the kids in tow or are just in the mood for something different in a familiar setting, you’ll find great options on your dining room menu. (Additional Cost)

Lido Marketplace
Featuring an amazing variety of casual dining spots, each just a few flip-flopped steps from the last, Lido Marketplace always has a special something ready to satisfy your latest craving spectacularly. Here we do it with dozens of what-to-eat options... great choices like BBQ, a deli counter, salad bar, an Asian station and a pasta bar... plus one spot where the chef serves up a different surprise daily! At Lido Marketplace, there’s tons of indoor and outdoor seating made for gathering around, so you can enjoy your personal faves in your favorite company for lunch or dinner, or even breakfast! Lido’s also where you can find soft serve, frozen yogurt and fresh pizza 24 hours a day... which so far seems to be enough to satisfy everybody.

1st cruise experience
We really loved this trip for our 1st cruise. The boat is very beautiful and very stable on the water. It was like walking in our house. We did feel a slight sway every now and then… but that was it. Arya was the room attendant for our room and he was awesome. He made sure to know our names and gave us tips about the cruise that were extremely helpful!! Arya was on point with the food and entertainment. He even helped us with the embarrassing to ask questions too. We did an excursion in Roatan and the guide Elton John was just as amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and was with us the whole way. He told us all about Honduras and the heritage. These two guys made the trip very memorable for us along with all of the activities on the cruise. Please thank them again and give them a hugs for us.

First Cruising Experience
My very first cruise was in May on the Jubilee and here are my honest thoughts as a 43 y/o F...starting at the beginning! Check in was rough - we had a really large group of over 20 people and there was no way we were making it through the lines together. We just split up and it honestly didn't take too long, but it was HOT and chaotic at the cruise terminal. Once we got through the terminal, getting on board was smooth, hit the muster station immediately - but I still am not 100% sure what the purpose of it was b/c we just signed our name and walked away. I did watch the video in my room later. Because we had a large group, I saw 5 different types of rooms: interior, cove balcony, balcony, extended balcony and a handicap interior. I also saw the cribs that the ship brings you - it's big and does not collapse or fold up. On to what the people care about. Drinks - you will wait. Just accept it. The casino bar is the absolute worst and it was never without a long line. The Marina Bar (on the 8th deck by the smoking patio) had the BEST bartenders on the boat. They were quick, efficient, recognized us and knew our drinks - so we kept going back there b/c it was easy and faster. Shout out to Luis, a bar back at the Marina Bar who was AMAZING!!! Time your trips to the Alchemy bar with when there are shows going on (the theatre is right behind it) and they have amazing specialty cocktails but it gets really packed. Trivia was fun but the same people won over and over and the bar felt really overcrowded every time we were in there. Food - overall, not great. The specialty dining I tried was Cucina, Bonsai sushi, and Chibang and they were better. The pizza at Coastal Slice was the star of the show - often had lines but they moved quickly and it's really good. There is a sandwich shop, Beach Buns, next to the pizza that had really limited hours, but was so good. I didn't try the specialty coffee bar, but heard it was a win. Guys burgers were great and Shaq's chicken was just okay. The buffet SUCKS - very limited options, especially for pickier eaters. The brunch in Pacific was actually really good too but that dining room VIBRATES so bad it makes for a very unpleasant experience; it's just loud - Atlantic was a much quieter dining hall but smaller. You won't starve but you won't be blown away by the food either. I didn't experience as much of the onboard activities as I wanted to - but the shows were really good that I did see. Went to a couple of the comedy shows, Love & Marriage. Show up early b/c the main auditorium gets full. Kendall Fire (not sure on spelling) was the cruise director, and she was great. Very lively and energetic. I mentioned trivia already. Bolt rollercoaster - you have to have closed toed shoes to ride it and you have to buy your ticket and pick your time to ride...it's obviously on the top deck and it was SO HOT up there. I didn't ride but our friends did and they loved it. *Side note - if your toddler isn't potty trained, they cannot go in ANY pool on the ship...not even the splash pad area up on top. Excursions, I didn't do any - I chose to just walk around the ports and do some shopping and it was great. My entire group did excursions at every port and they gave mixed reviews. Some liked that they didn't have to make any decisions and just showed up for the event, but others felt like they were stuck longer than they wanted to be. Just depends on your personality type. Now that I've seen the ports, Roatan is a great one to just hit the beach. Costa Maya had the best shopping and stuff to see right at port. Cozumel is worth doing an excursion b/c the port is HOT and like a concrete jungle. I have a catamaran outing planned for this port next time. Speaking of shopping, there is a luxury boutique on the boat with secondhand designer bags. All authentic and actually at decent price points. The room was tight for two people - we had an extended balcony room on the 12th floor and it was 2 female friends, so beds separated into twins. Made it very hard to walk around the bed to open the balcony and we were just on top of each other getting ready. I know that's expected on a cruise ship but either really like the person you are travelling with or just get your own room. I'm going back in October, same boat, different group of people and this time I will be solo on the 5th floor in a cove balcony. I'm hoping I won't feel the boat moving as much on a lower floor and I'm not too worried about noise b/c I bring ear plugs and I have a portable oscillating fan. All in all, the experience was really great. The people were friendly, lots of families, but really mixed demographics. No matter your age, you won't be bored, and it was fairly relaxing...minus all the walking. I walked an average of 6 miles a day...even on sea days. I did gets the Cheers package and had Wifi - it worked pretty well but I wasn't trying to use it for anything but scrolling. The Hub on board texting app was a waste of $5 - we all got it for our big group, however, messages came through late or not at all and just wasn't a practical means of communication. There was a decent selection of movies on the TV if you have a lazy day or want to fall asleep with the TV on.

10+ Cruises: 70s
A Wonderful Week aboard the Carnival Jubilee!
A Wonderful Week Aboard the Carnival Jubilee in the Caribbean Our family of three had a really fun seven-night cruise aboard the Carnival Jubilee last week, and it was a trip we won’t forget! We sailed the Caribbean on May 10th, and while the weather was very hot and humid, we were always happy to return to the ship after time in the three ports. Seven days wasn’t enough — we were having such a great time on this beautiful ship! The Ship and Decor The Jubilee has an impressive, underwater-themed design that really sets it apart. Everywhere you look, there are playful touches like mermaids, sea creatures, and ocean-inspired animations. The ship’s decor gives it a fun and lighthearted vacation vibe, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into creating a nautical atmosphere. It was a great backdrop for our Caribbean getaway and looked different from the other Carnival ships. Our Cabin We stayed in balcony cabin, which was on Deck 14, mid-ship. It was a comfortable space for three because it had an upper berth for our adult daughter, and that made a huge difference in terms of space. The cabin was quiet, well-located near the central elevator, and had plenty of storage for all our things — more storage space than many ships, and we've sailed 29 times! Our cabin steward, Julius, was attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. When we had a small issue with the sink and air conditioning, he made sure they were addressed promptly, and we appreciated his help and attitude throughout the cruise. He was good at his job and had the perfect temperament for dealing with cruising guests. Dining and Food The dining options on the Jubilee are impressive. We had a chance to try several specialty restaurants, including Chibang (offering Chinese/Mexican fusion) and Cucina Del Capitano (Italian), both of which were excellent and better than we've had on other ships. The food at the buffet was consistently good, and there was always something new to try. The dinners in the buffet were very similar to options in the dining room. We also loved the anytime dining, which was very convenient, and we never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes — and that was through the app, so we could wait anywhere on the ship. Although finding a table near the buffet can be a bit tricky, we always managed to make it work, and we were usually able to get a seat by the window. For us, no Carnival cruise would be complete without their famous Chocolate Melting Cake, which was as delicious as ever, especially with vanilla ice cream! The fresh gelato at the buffet was another highlight every day during lunch. Activities and Entertainment There was no shortage of things to do onboard. We participated in arts and crafts, went to comedy shows, saw all the production musicals (the cast is talented!), used the gym, and even tried out the Bolt Roller-Coaster and the ropes course. There’s something for everyone, from those looking to relax to those seeking adventure, and we like both! We also visited the bars, lounges, and the arcade. There was always something going on from morning to night, and the entertainment was varied and enjoyable. One of the unique things onboard was the Jubilee's interactive, two-deck underwater-themed zone called "Currents." This area is the location for Seaquest: A simulated Submarine Adventure, with an immersive promenade experience where guests see an interactive underwater journey. Additionally, guests can transform the entire zone into different underwater environments through zone-wide activations called "Change the Currents." It’s unique for a ship, but we did find that the volume of the "Seaquest" adventure animation was so low that it was nearly impossible to follow the storyline, which made it frustrating for all the people trying to watch it. The attraction has great potential for kids and adults, but with the audio so low, it was disappointing, and I was sorry we attended. When I commented on this situation to an employee, she stated that although she understood my frustration, it was "above her pay grade," so she was not going to extend my opinion to anyone. Since the event only runs maybe once per day, for about ten to fifteen minutes, raising the volume wouldn't be difficult or annoying to anyone in that area of the ship or the bars/restaurants surrounding it, and would make a significant difference to the enjoyment of the experience/attraction. A lot of money was clearly spent on developing this attraction, so why not make it effective...just raise the volume!!! New Cruise Director Gabby Gamboa (her first official gig as cruise director) did a fantastic job keeping the energy up and keeping guests engaged, as well as being personable and often present at the events. The entertainment team really made the cruise feel lively, with everything from trivia games to live performances and game shows. Youth Programs The youth programs on the ship appeared to be excellent, and it was clear that the kids were having a blast. We saw children engaging in Dr. Seuss-themed activities, which seemed to be a real favorite, even with adult family members. The programs looked well-organized, and the kids looked like they were having a fantastic time. Ports of Call This cruise took us to three familiar ports: Roatan, Honduras; Costa Maya; and Cozumel. We decided to do something a little different at each stop than we had previously. In Roatan, we took a Viator tour that included a nature preserve, a rum cake factory, a chocolate factory, and a visit to a beach called Bananarama, which was very peaceful and had shade just steps from the water. In Costa Maya, we kept it simple and spent time walking around the port, taking photos, and enjoying the sights. Our final stop was Cozumel, where we took a Carnival excursion to Playa UVAS beach, close to Chankanaab. It was a perfect spot to relax and do some snorkeling — always a highlight for me. Food and alcohol were included as well. I brought my own snorkel equipment and swam with many big fish right off the shore. It's very rocky there, so bring water shoes also. Service Overall, the service on the ship was excellent. The staff in the dining rooms, buffets, and throughout the ship were friendly, helpful, and always quick to attend to our needs. We also had the chance to meet Chef Bart from the Pacific Dining Room and Senior Maître D' Alexander, who were both very approachable and seemed genuinely interested in guest feedback regarding the dining experiences. Final Thoughts We had a truly enjoyable and relaxing time on the Jubilee. The ship is beautiful, the food is great, entertainment varied, and there’s no shortage of activities to keep everyone entertained. The service was top-notch, and we left feeling very well taken care of. We would definitely recommend this ship to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing cruise in the Caribbean. We’ll certainly sail on the Jubilee again, and we will recommend it to our friends who enjoy cruising.
