Highly Recommend Regent and this Cruise!
We are frequent cruisers. This cruise was an exceptional experience, and we could find no negatives to report! Cruise staff members were outstanding, food was delicious, wine selections were to our liking, entertainers were talented and personable, and our suite was perfect. We were impressed with some of the creative activies, such as "the block party", and we were delighted to see the video in the theatre. We made friends with Karen Macaballug the first night while dining in Compass Rose. Karen made it part of her duties to care for us anytime she saw us in another area of the ship. This attention from a crew member, makes a passenger feel special. The head sommelier also offered attention "above and beyond" the call of duty, and we appreciated his service. Kudos and praise for the cruise director, Dru. He was one of the best we have experienced on any of our cruises.

Splendor is absolutely splendid!
You embark on Splendor and are immediately greeted with warm smiles and champagne. The decor is breathtaking - an absolutely beautiful space to enjoy for 11 days. Our Serenity Suite has every amenity I could possibly ask for, with laundry included which is an excellent perk on a longer trip like this. The staff is polished and professional, and has accommodated our every request. My biggest focus traveling is food, and the dining experience on Splendor is SUBLIME. Four specialty restaurants, gorgeous cocktail bars, beautiful wine. Our bartender even remembered us! Service at all the establishments is knowledgeable, accommodating, and so relaxing-they truly take care of everything so you can sit back, enjoy the company and the food, and let any other cares melt away. The gym is well equipped-machines, weights, gorgeous views, and this cruise had fitness classes (included!) as well. I appreciate that I can utilize the Spa without booking services - a warm sit in the sauna or dip in the infinity pool is perfect for me. Our tours are included, always well organized, and perfect for exploring the ports along the way.

Splendor is our favorite and we've been on all
The Grandeur will spoil you with doors that open and close with the wave of a hand and at times seems crowded while on the Splendor we had the feeling of space. On both ships we chose category F1 or F2 Serenity Suite as the room size is the same as the Concierge Suite. The difference is the Concierge Suite gives you a hotel night, transfer from airport to hotel then to ship and a coffee maker in the suite. We prefer to take care of the hotel and transfers on our own and you can always get coffee at the Coffee Connection or Pool Grill Starboard side. The entertainment on this cruise was excellent! We don't care for magicians or jugglers and there weren't any on this leg. We had no complaints aboout the food as there are many choices such as Pacific Rim (Asian) and Chartreuse (French) (reservation only), Compass Rose (main dining), Setti Mare Italian for dinner only in the same space as La Veranda for breakfast and lunch, and CoffeeConnection. The menu in Compass Rose changes every evening but if you don't like the offerings on the right side of the menu, you can always choose from the left side of the menu that always has the same offerings. Oops! I almost forgot the Pool Grill...hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, salad, ice cream, and more. The included shore excursions were good and well organized. In ports where we couldn't get an easy rated excursion, we booked a private tour through Viatour. In Ponta Delgada, Portugal try the tour that takes you to see the blue and green lakes. On the drive to the lakes, you will never forget the hydrangeas that line the roads and property lines. Now what can I say about the crew? They are all very hard working, eager to please and helpful at all times. Embarkation and disembarkation were easy peasy. No long lines.
