Carnival Firenze

Now that Carnival Firenze is sailing from Long Beach, towards all the south-of-the-border goodness along Mexico's Pacific coast, does that mean this homeport is on its way towards fame as a hotspot of Italian culture? Probabilmente!
So, Long Beach, you're wondering what to expect from Fun Italian Style™? Grab your movie star sunglasses and throw on a scarf — just for style — as you make your entrance at Piazza Duomo, named for Florence's iconic domed cathedral. To get a taste for onboard flavor and flair, check out spots like the elegant three-course Michelangelo and Medici Restaurants, traditional Italian foods, cocktails and more at Il Viaggio, plus Italian street food spot La Strada Grill™. You're even going to find an Italian market, Il Mercato, featuring faves like sauced-up meatballs, sandwiches with inspiration from Italy and beyond, plus sausages and salads. And since we're always authentic… most of the time, you can enjoy the fusion-y goodness of Mexican-Italian Tomodoro™ plus Guy's Burger Joint, which now features classics and burgers with Italian twists.
For refreshment served up in a glass, look to cocktail bar Amari™, frozen drinks with a bit of attitude at Rococó™, Frizzante™ with its three specialties (bubbly drinks, snacks and coffee!), plus classic Italian cocktails and martinis with surprising and fashionable twists (and live music too!) at Moda Bar and Lounge™. Even more spots for entertainment include the classic-theater vibe of Teatro Rosso featuring Playlist Productions shows, and Tuscan Lounge paying tribute to Florence's iconic home region. Let's not forget Terrazza staterooms — we could never! — which give you a stylish, comfy place to unwind from all the fun… near a private deck featuring exclusive amenities like all-day lounging at Terrazza Moda home to great views, drinks, entertainment, whirlpools and more.
While we're excited about the Italian side of this ship, it's not the whole story. Carnival has some true fan-favorites we knew folks would be asking for. That's why Carnival Firenze also includes familiar flavors like Bonsai Teppanyaki™ and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse™. Places to celebrate absolutely anything (or just nothing!) include Piano Bar 88 and Serenity Bar, while you can seriously kick back at Cloud 9 Spa™ and Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™. Kids are going to love Camp Ocean™, Circle “C”® and Club O2® — each one is perfectly designed for a different age group. And if active/splashy fun is your thing, that's honestly a great thing and we can tell you're going to be spending time at WaterWorks™ and SportSquare™, home to a ropes course, jogging track, mini golf course and outdoor fitness center.

WaterWorks
Wanna splish — and splash — the day away? Head on over to WaterWorks™, Carnival's onboard waterpark. First up, there's the Twister Waterslide™, hundreds of feet of spiraling awesomeness that starts you off high in the air and gets you down low with one of the fastest, wettest rides you'll find anywhere. Select ships have side-by-side racing slides, which make serious competition seriously fun. Wear your speed suit for Speedway Splash, which features hundreds of feet of racing action, plus special lighting effects you'll experience on the road to victory. DrainPipe™ ends with one major swirl of a finish, while PowerDrencher™ takes soaking seriously — imagine the biggest bucket of water you've ever seen, raining down on you from above. And this isn't just kids' stuff — the young at heart are encouraged to zoom and splash around too! (WaterWorks configurations vary by ship.)

Bingo
With more ways to win than ever before, bingo on a cruise ship is like no other. Get ready to play some crazy-exciting, hoot-and-holler-if-you-win-big bingo! The prizes are bigger, the packages are more fun and there are even souvenir daubers to mark your numbers… so bring your friends because the more people who play, the more money there is up for grabs. That next B-6 could be the lucky call that lands you a whopping $5,000 jackpot!
Dining Options

Dining Room
“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s satisfying, not stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert.
The menu is amazing — and included in your cruise fare! — with fan-favorite Carnival cornerstones now being joined by innovative selections from Emeril Lagasse and our chefs. New choices like Pappardelle with Braised Lamb, Coffee Glazed Roast Duck and Hawaiian Shrimp Poke are sure to please, to be honest… almost every palate. That’s why Carnival’s new vegan dining room menu is so important to making sure everyone finds food they love. Look for plant-based options like Baked Vegetable Au Gratin, Eggplant Cutlet a la Parmigiana — and even modified versions of Hawaiian Salmon Poke and Spaghetti Carbonara! Our chefs always work to accommodate dietary needs, but this menu puts delicious choices front-and-center.
Tip: When you book, choose Early Dining or Late Dining for reserved seating nightly, or go with Your Time Dining to chow whenever the clock strikes “hungry.”

Guy's Burger Joint
When we went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, we found just the guy. Carnival teamed up with best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy’s Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own. And since Guy’s vision for burger perfection knows no borders, our Fun Italian Style ships each feature a Guy’s Burger Joint location that adds exclusive Italian flavors to the menu. (We’re talking a pepperoni pizza burger, plus the Super Melty Mootz, which comes smothered in — you guessed it — mootzarella cheese!)

Great ship
Great beaitful ship. Very fun events. The Italian theme tile and granite was awesome. The crew was outs standing. Guys burgers and pizza place where the best. The Mexican. Food was mediocre at best. The main dining room had some good items but not all was good. The highlights were Cesar salad. Braised short rib. Chocolate melty cake. Prime rib. The filet at the steak house was excellent. The after hours snacks at buffet were not good. Hot dog rolls hard as rocks every night. Food I give a 6.2/10 glorified buffet food. Crew 10/10. Atmosphere and service 10/10. The elevators get over crowded because people.do not push the button en ough times for how.many are in the party. Great experience overall and will be booking our next cruise soon. The pools and spas were great along with water slides and obstacle course. The arcade room was fun also. Loved the piano bar the most! Epic times cant wait to do it over again.

Great experience
This was my first cruise. I took 6 people with me 3 kids under 8 and three adults. Everyone had a blast. One of my boys loved the all you can eat pizza and ice cream. They loved camp ocean also. My older kids did karaoke and really enjoyed the lady running it. Our dining experience with the wait staff was great!! All three of them were AWESOME. They made things for the kids out of their menus like frogs, air planes and even a flower. On our fancy night they helped set up my son getting proposed to. Cabo was wonderful. The water was so warm and the sand felt great between my toes. Every day when we would return to our room our room attendant would have a new towel animal on the bed. He knew us by name and was a great help when we needed it. Next time though I think I will just go with a regular stateroom instead of a balcony because we weren't in our room enough to enjoy the balcony. Definitely will be sailing with carnival again!!

I had an amazing time! The crew members go above and beyond for their guest. Everything was perfect. The amount of effort and work the members put in, is unbelievable. Starting of with my cabin. Clean and central cooling was set at a perfect temperature. House keeping folks always had a smile and greeted me every time I exited my room. They were nice and fun to talk to. The food in the buffet, delicious! Every time and every day was fantastic. It shows the effort they put in. Kitchen staff members kept very clean. I used the pool and hot tube quite often. Every day we were being entertained by a DJ. And yes, everyone was having a good time. Great music with great vibes. And oh yea, they have bars near the pool. Party everyday. Lets not forget, the water slides were fun as well! All around amazing. Entertainment from comedy clubs, dive in movies, casino, karaoke, live music, sports bar, live shows and I can go on and on. See you soon Carnival Cruise Lines!
