NCL Mediterranean
Great itinerary. We cruised to Greece, Malta, Sicily and Italy. Excursions to ancient sites were amazing. We saw Akrotiri on Santorini, Hagar Qin in Malta, Pompeii in Naples, Pisa and Florence in Italy. We also did a beach day on Mykonos and toured both the Acropolis and the Temple of Poseidon in Athens. We also toured Olympia, the site of the original Olympic Games for over 400 years. We toured vineyards and wine producing facilities at most of the locations. We spent a lot of time on excursions and the cruise only had one sea day. It worked out well for us since it was the day after embarkation which gave us time to adjust to the time changes. I did not go to any of the on board entertainment since I was walking about five miles per day on mostly a variety of cobblestone surfaces. We did eat at La Cuchina and Le Bistro for our specialty dinners and the food was good.

Epic cruise 9-1-25
NCL Epic was very comfortable. We had a balcony stateroom. The bathroom is a little weird, but we managed. Our stateroom was always clean and fresh when we returned from tours or ship activities. I have a CPAP and our cabin steward got distilled water for me and there was no charge. The ship doesn't have a midship elevator so there is a lot of walking in the companionways. The entertainment was fabulous with the Epic Beatles and the Red, White and British shows. The singers, dancers and performers are top level. The shows sell out fast so go to one of the information screens in the elevator lobbies and book your spot early on the first day. When going ashore in Mykonos or Santorini, book your tender tickets early as well. If you have private excursions, tell the NCL representative you have an early private tour and show your reservation, and they will put you on the first tender. The only NCL excursion we did on this cruise was "Florence on you own". This excursion is not as simple as it appears. Please read the fine print on the booking. It is a strenuous walk of 45 minutes each way on uneven surfaces and cobbles. If you have a disability, please consider this carefully. The tour busses are not allowed in the city. The guide will try to steer you into their favorite jewelry shops and restaurants. Sheehan's sports bar is the place for breakfast if you don't want to do the buffet. The specialty dining is superb. We ate at all of them and LaCucina twice. Embarkation and disembarkation are straightforward and quite easy. Overall, this was a very enjoyable trip.

Great cruise
This was my 5th time on this ship but the 1st time since covid and I still love it. Yes it is an older ship and not the prettiest but the entertainment, staff and food were great. I picked this cruise because of the itinerary as I was going with family that have never sailed on NCL and they have never done the Greek Isles. Fortunately they loved everything about it. I had a studio cabin which I enjoyed. A bit tight on space but ok for 1 person. Staff that excelled - Magdalena the beverage manger in the pool area. She was fun and friendly and her staff both the waiters and the bar staff worked extremely hard to serve everyone as quick as possible. Waiters in the pool area - Tony (Anthony) and Roby Waitress in O'Sheghans - Madel who always made us laugh. I would definitely cruise on the Epic again.
