Carnival Paradise

We broke the mold after we made this one. The final Fantasy class cruise ship ever created, Carnival Paradise is proof that there's plenty of fun to be found long before you reach your dream destination.
This ship remains classic Carnival — fun-packed from bow to stern — but on the other hand, we've never stopped adding fresh new features. So now you can grab something cold, or sweet… or maybe even hot, at JavaBlue™ Café. Meet the new Cloud 9 Spa™, featuring a full menu of, ahhh, spa treatments. We also added a Bonsai Sushi Express™, so you can take your fresh sushi, sashimi, rolls and more, to go, someplace fun.
By the way, on Carnival Paradise you'll find great times in and near the H2O courtesy of pools, hot tubs and even a Carnival WaterWorks™ waterpark featuring a huge spiraling slide, plus a pair of racing slides. At Seuss at Sea™ the characters always make a splash with an interactive storytime and parade, plus this ship features three age-perfect youth programs. Great live entertainment, like The Punchliner Comedy Club™, Playlist Productions™ and piano bar, happens up on stage… bravo!
If you're talking tasty classics, you're going to find two of our top casual spots: Guy's Burger Joint™, featuring the goods from Guy Fieri, and BlueIguana Cantina™, with authentic south-of-the-border taco/burrito goodness. Refreshments — and good times — abound with RedFrog Rum Bar® and BlueIguana Tequila Bar™. And a little closer to home (well, your vacation home), Carnival Paradise features even more balcony staterooms than before. Feel that breeze!
Spend a vacation aboard Carnival Paradise, and you'll find a little slice of cruise paradise at sea.

The Punchliner Comedy Club™
Comedy clubs on land… well, it’s kinda funny. Nobody likes paying cover charges, and you know that two-drink minimum? They’ve gotta be joking! You won’t find either of these at The Punchliner Comedy Club™ aboard your Carnival cruise. Up on stage you will find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. You can count on these comedians to not hold back either. Since some of them get up and say exactly what’s on their mind, we also schedule family-friendly performances… so the only red faces in the audience are from laughing a little too hard.
Tip: We’ll say it again — The Punchliner Comedy Club features some shows that are family-friendly and some adult-only. You can choose which ones you attend! To help plan your evening, check the Fun Times — it’s delivered daily to your stateroom.

Show Lounge
Carnival's stage shows are designed to razzle and dazzle. Featuring talented singers, musicians and dancers performing crowd-thrilling numbers in extravagant costumes with awesome sets and scenery, it’s like catching one of the best shows on land. All performances are created to ensure that every night feels like opening night. And best of all, since shows are included in your fare, it’s like having top-dollar tickets to the hottest show in town, absolutely free.
Dining Options

Dining Room
“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s satisfying, not stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert.
The menu is amazing — and included in your cruise fare! — with fan-favorite Carnival cornerstones now being joined by innovative selections from Emeril Lagasse and our chefs. New choices like Pappardelle with Braised Lamb, Coffee Glazed Roast Duck and Hawaiian Shrimp Poke are sure to please, to be honest… almost every palate. That’s why Carnival’s new vegan dining room menu is so important to making sure everyone finds food they love. Look for plant-based options like Baked Vegetable Au Gratin, Eggplant Cutlet a la Parmigiana — and even modified versions of Hawaiian Salmon Poke and Spaghetti Carbonara! Our chefs always work to accommodate dietary needs, but this menu puts delicious choices front-and-center.
Tip: When you book, choose Early Dining or Late Dining for reserved seating nightly, or go with Your Time Dining to chow whenever the clock strikes “hungry.”

The Chef's Table
Treat your taste buds to the experience of a lifetime, culminating in a sumptuous multicourse dinner hosted by the Master Executive Chef. Your VIP experience starts with a champagne toast and hors d’oeuvres for a select group of 12-16, followed by a tour to see the galley in operation. The evening concludes with a mind-blowing full-service dinner of amazing appetizers, entrées and desserts not found on our regular dining menus.
Tip: Reserve early because this once-in-a-lifetime experience has limited seating. Reservations can be made online after booking your cruise.

I LOVED THE PARADISE
I just went on the carnival paradise and had an amazing time. First off, every guest my sister and i came across (expect for two people) were so friendly and kind and fun to hang out with. Embarkation was a breeze and we were on board from start to finish in 15 minutes ! Once on we located the muster station-dropped our bags at the cabin where we met the most amazing fantastic cabin steward I had in 26 carnival cruises. His name was Tegh and he took care of us in such a wonderful way. Our cabin was a fully accessible cabin and it too was great. The beds were cozy and there was plenty of space for both of us and my scooter. The only thing missing was drawer space but we made it work and the shower pressure and hot water was great. The food in the MDR was good as well. The soups and food came out well prepared and cooked to perfection. No complaints there. the buffet ( and im not a buffet person) was meh BUT there was an amazing salad bar completely separate from the buffet line. which was nice. There was plenty to do and the shows were ok too. The cruise director Paully and his fun squad had more energy than the energizer bunny. Paully made sure he spoke to everyone and engaged with everyone. Shout to MK and Camille from the fun squad too ! I really did not want to get off but had too as the cruise ended. I truly enjoyed the tiny ship- it was easy to navigate and not get lost. the casino was good to me--- again and the casino manager Sherrell was super nice. Drinks were also "well poured "and came in a timely manner. Of course there were a few things not perfect but Im not gonna be picky as they really did not spoil my trip. If you want to chill on a smaller ship- meet nice people and experience super nice and helpful and respectful staff from customer service to the room steward.. sail on the paradise.

Carnival Paradise - KeyWest, Jamaica, Grand Cayman
This was our 5th cruise with Carnival and once again we were very pleased. It was our second time on Paradise, which is now one of the older ships in the Carnival fleet. Nevertheless, the trip did not disappoint in any way. Incredible food... within 30 minutes of being on board I was eating the smash burger I had been dreaming of for months! We got a window side room and the extra spending was worth it. Nice to wake up in the middle of the night and see the moonlight bouncing off the water. The room was comfy enough for 4. My wife and I slept on the king bed. My kids were still small enough to bunk in the foldout bunk bed. Next time they will need an adjoining room. Our steward YOGA was excellent. He was very friendly, kept the rooms clean and attended to all our needs. The onboard entertainment was top notch. Each of our stops was great. The highlight was our stop in Montego Bay, Jamaica. My parents had not been back to their native Jamaica in nearly thirty years. My young children had never been to Jamaica. It was an emotionally incredibly moment meeting up with some family we had seen only on Facebook and watching generations of our family sit and talk. My father is 92 if he can make it another year we should be back on another Carnival Cruise.

Fun time!
The ship was clean. The food was very good. The service was terrific, from room attendant to dining rm waiter and everyone working on the ship. The balcony room was kind of cozy for 4 ppl, but comfy enough. Shower was actually decent size, plenty of hot water and pressure. Vanity could use more shelves. Kids ages 9 and 12 had fun but could have had more activities for their age group. Maybe a poker room for kids, since they like card games? Maybe better options for kids to shop or grab a snack or bag of chips, etc.? We will prob take bigger ship next time for 7 nights. This is a good ship that's not too big, it goes under the Skyway bridge, and is very convenient to Tampa area. We will def return to Carnival in the future. This was our 3rd Carnival cruise, it did not disappoint.
