Ship information
Carnival Horizon

The line that brings the sea and the sky together inspired us... to build a ship that unites you with great fun, comfort, dining and exotic destinations. And most importantly, unites you with one another. It's Carnival Horizon!
This ship doesn't just do it a little bit, either. First, Carnival Horizon goes big with an IMAX® theater for true cinematic action! This ship keeps things flowing with an onboard waterpark that splashes you more than a little — Dr. Seuss WaterWorks™ splashes you oodles, with a little help from the wacky characters everybody loves. Go for a bike ride way, way above it all at SkyRide®. The Punchliner Comedy Club™ and Playlist Productions™ are just two of your top onboard entertainment picks, and they’re both focused on uniting you with unforgettable performances up on stage.
For relaxation, get to Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™, or step up to max relaxation at Cloud 9 Spa™ featuring great massages, thermal suites and more. Havana Bar™ & Pool is a good one too — a spot that brings together stylish poolside lounging with authentically Cuban cocktails... adding hot nightlife into the mix once the sun goes down. And all day long, you know we've got stuff for the kids — Carnival Horizon has three age-specific youth spaces!
This ship brings tons of flavor to every meal. It starts with a guy named Guy — Fieri — who created two awesome spots on the ship: one's the crowd-pleasing Guy's Burger Joint™, and the other happens to be Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse™, a spot that serves up BBQ classics paired with freshly-brewed-right-on-board beers. If you're looking for great seafood on Carnival Horizon, then Seafood Shack™'s the place to cast your net. Bonsai Teppanyaki™ is an intimate meal and interactive performance, while Fahrenheit 555™ is a dining experience that stands toe-to-toe with some of the best steakhouses on land. Jiji Asian Kitchen® and Cucina del Capitano® each specialize in delighting certain taste buds: the ones craving pan-Asian favorites, and classic Italian dishes served family-style. (Check... and check!)
Add all this together and you've got... a vacation on Carnival Horizon that truly brings it all together.

Add all this together and you've got... a vacation on Carnival Horizon that truly brings it all together.

Playlist Productions
Everyone has those perfect songs that never fail to get them moving. Playlist Productions™ brings lists like yours to life! Your favourites become full-blown musical productions featuring singers and dancers bringing down the house. Shows vary by ship, but there’s a playlist for every music lover. Need a few examples? How about the spicy sounds of Amor Cubano™, the movie-magic soundtrack of FLICK™, or Vintage Pop™ with its 20s-jazz-meets-modern-hits? Release your inner rock-n-roll patriot during America Rocks™! Enter the centre of groove with the passionate Heart of Soul™. Feel the arena-shaking sounds of Epic Rock™, the piano-pounding sounds of 88 Keys™, the totally bad-meaning-good 80s Pop to the Max™, plus the funky, sophisticated... and not-at-all exclusive Studio VIP™, where everyone’s welcome to come and get down!

WaterWorks™
Wanna splish — and splash — the day away? Head on over to WaterWorks™, Carnival's onboard waterpark. First up, there's the Twister Waterslide™, hundreds of feet of spiralling awesomeness that starts you off high in the air and gets you down low with one of the fastest, wettest rides you'll find anywhere. Select ships have side-by-side racing slides, which make serious competition seriously fun. Wear your speed suit for Speedway Splash, which features hundreds of feet of racing action, plus special lighting effects you'll experience on the road to victory. DrainPipe™ ends with one major swirl of a finish, while PowerDrencher™ takes soaking seriously — imagine the biggest bucket of water you've ever seen, raining down on you from above. And this isn't just kids' stuff — the young at heart are encouraged to zoom and splash around too! (WaterWorks configurations vary by ship.)
Dining Options

Seafood Shack
A good seafood dish is quite the catch. However you like yours served — whether it’s on a roll or a platter — Seafood Shack’s™ the place to cast your net. Imagine a New-England-style seaside spot where you can take it all in, enjoying a great meal complete with a side of ocean view. On a Carnival cruise is where you’ll find this shack by the sea, wherever in the world you happen to be!

Dining Room
“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s satisfying, not stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert.
The menu is amazing — and included in your cruise fare! — with fan-favorite Carnival cornerstones now being joined by innovative selections from Emeril Lagasse and our chefs. New choices like Pappardelle with Braised Lamb, Coffee Glazed Roast Duck and Hawaiian Shrimp Poke are sure to please, to be honest… almost every palate. That’s why Carnival’s new vegan dining room menu is so important to making sure everyone finds food they love. Look for plant-based options like Baked Vegetable Au Gratin, Eggplant Cutlet a la Parmigiana — and even modified versions of Hawaiian Salmon Poke and Spaghetti Carbonara! Our chefs always work to accommodate dietary needs, but this menu puts delicious choices front-and-centre.
Tip: When you book, choose Early Dining or Late Dining for reserved seating nightly, or go with Your Time Dining to chow whenever the clock strikes “hungry.”

Fun Is on the (Carnival) Horizon
Cabin: We stayed in a Cove Balcony room, which means it was on deck 2 near the water. Beautiful views but almost continuously heard the boom of waves, which got annoying. Room was clean and well maintained. Dining: Overall very good. By far best Lido food we've had so far. Service: Cabin steward was friendly and attentive to our requests. We had your time dining but at suggestion of first night wait staff always got their area. They were amazing: friendly, attentive, anticipated our preferences. Absolutely wonderful. Entertainment: Actually better than on previous cruises, especially the Cuban band. They were fantastic, both in the stage show and in the three sets we stayed for one night. Cons: Corridors frequently had food items on the floor - needs to be more attentively cleaned. Embarkation should have been a breeze for us since we'd purchased Faster to the Fun. We did sail through the lines to get on board, but one of the perks you pay for with FTTF is expediated luggage delivery to your cabin. Between my husband and I we checked three bags. His two arrived around 2:30, which was fantastic, but mine didn't arrive until 5:15 pm. That led to a nerve wracking few hours to start our vacation, wondering if somehow my baggage didn't get on board, especially when the ship pulled away from harbor without my baggage in the room. I brought it to the attention of Guest Services who told me they have until 6 pm to deliver the luggage, but that deadline is for all passengers, not those who pay for FTTF. For disembarkation, we carried our luggage off the ship by ourselves, which I highly recommend. But over all, the cruise was a great experience which I'd recommend.

CARNIVAL HORIZON WAS AMAZING !
This ship is beautiful and easy to navigate. There are smart elevators and once everyone learns to manage them, they are amazing. Let me start with service. My daughter and I met the most positive and helpful and kind staff from the dining room to guest services to our wonderful cabin steward Frandy. And the cruise director Tyler? FANTASTIC. I had a late night having fun and playing blackjack and left for my room around 3am? All over the ship the staff was cleaning-mopping and making everything perfect. Not lets talk food. Not a bad meal anywhere. The steak house was well worth the money as was the Italian Restaurant and Bonsai Sushi. Blue Iguana-Guys Burger lived up to it's name. I am not a buffet girl so no comment there. MDR was also fantastic from the food to the staff. The shows on this particular ship were phenomenal. I've seen many many shows and these were worth seeing. There were so many things to do if you didn't want to pool. So many trivia and trivia type games with a variety of subjects so there is always something for everyone. The casino was good as well (i did well) but people really need to learn casino etiquette (smh). Favorite black jack dealers were Tom-and DJ. And the casino manager who's name has slipped my mind was wonderful. Getting served in the casino as well was easy. the only negative about the casino was to passengers who either hogged a machine or thought playing 3 machines at the same time was nice. NOT! Our cabin was on deck 8 forward and it was super cold-great water pressure- and hot water and again a shout out to Frandy. This cruise was relaxation time and I was able to do that. Met so many wonderful people and to be honest, except for 2 negative people i ran into, everyone with kind-friendly and helpful. Embarkation and Debarkation was easy-peasy without trouble. I I

Cruise Fun 2025
This was my 2nd cruise, the 1st was on Carnival Sunrise. I had a fabulous time and I'm ready to cruise again. Met lots of fun people, the staff was amazing and the food and entertainment was great! The weather was perfect. And there was never a dull moment! Sitting on the balcony was extremely relaxing and the view was breathtaking. If you've never cruised and want a great time,Carnival is the ship to sail on. My cruise was for 6 days and each day brought exciting adventures. I have nothing negative to say about my cruise. Lots of different foods to try and never hungry the entire cruise. Oh,did I mention how fun it was? And cruise director Victor kept us entertained and satisfied! Can't wait until my next cruise somewhere in the near future! May try a 14 day cruise next. Fun,fun, fun! Lots of friendly people! Carnival Horizon did not disappoint!
