SCANDINAVIA on the APEX did not Disappoint!
The Apex Best of Scandinavia cruise was terrific! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Here are our highlights: 1. THE CABIN: The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were wonderful, the shower was lovely. I wasn't sure about the Infinite Veranda, but LOVED it! The view was beautiful, it provided more space as an extension of the room, and I never had to worry about being too cold or it being too windy. 2. THE OCEANVIEW CAFE: The food was really good in this buffet. We got spoiled for our daily breakfast with made-to-order omelettes and fresh fruit. The lunch was also amazing and the desserts were a feast for the eyes. We particularly liked the Asian entrees. 3. SCANDINAVIA: What a great itinerary! Loved Helsinki and Estonia was a wonderful surprise. We did Stockholm and Copenhagen on our own and went to the ABBA Museum, VASA Museum, and the Denmark Design Museum via a ferry boat and Ubers. I recommend all three! 4. The Main Theater ENTERTAINMENT was overall very good. Especially loved the female guest musician, the male singer from Wales, and the death-defying acrobats. Now for the "JUST OKAY-LIGHTS": 1. Main Dining. I didn't have one meal that was a "WOW". The food "was fine", but nothing to brag about. I have had much better food on Princess in the main dining rooms. For one meal, we had to sit with three other couples at a large table (in the Tucson) and the service was PAINFULLY slow. I swear it took us almost 2 hours to get through that meal. My husband and I kept wanting to run back through the Oceanview Cafe which was better (and certainly faster!). The food on a few of the dinners also arrived barely warm. I ordered Shrimp Scampi one night and the noodles were practically stuck together. I did say something and they quickly corrected the food and offered me some grilled shrimps instead (since I had lost all interest in having pasta by that point) which was delicious so the meal turned out fine. We ate in the Steakhouse two nights as well and the 9 OZ Filet Mignon was wonderful. They also gave me a baked potato (by request) which may not have been listed as a choice. I was not very impressed with the lobster dish in the Fine Cut though - I expected it to be more of a "Wow". Overall, the cruise was a lot of fun and we were able to really relax. We are not drinkers or gamblers, we enjoy just taking a break from our normal life. I appreciated the Movie selection in the room - I got to catch up on a few brand new releases I hadn't seen yet. We also had a wonderful time in each port. If you haven't been to Scandinavia, you must go! One final note...we took an end-of-cruise excursion to Windsor Castle that dropped us off at the airport. Our guide on the bus was not great. She kept handing laminated 8.5 x 11" cards back to us about the royal family and other historical aspects...I mean like 15 laminated cards...so we had to continually pass things back and forth among all of the passengers on the bus. It was SUPER ANNOYING because some folks just wanted it to be quiet so they could take a nap and some of us really, really did not want to keep touching these things when some folks clearly were coughing and had "something". There was no way to get out of it though...she just kept passing crap to us. PLEASE, Celebrity, tell this tour guide to not make everyone touch the same things when someone may be contagious. Fortunately, I am very healthy and stayed healthy throughout the cruise.

Beautiful Ship and Fabulous Services as always!
We recently sailed the Norwegian Fjords on Celebrity Apex and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. One of the highlights for us was how accommodating and thoughtful the staff were, especially as we were traveling with a deaf person. The care and attention shown were exceptional. A standout moment was at the buffet one morning when a server kindly waited with her to let her know when her omelet was ready—such a simple act, but it meant so much. We also really appreciated the strict hygiene protocols, especially at the buffet where handwashing was mandatory before entry—very reassuring and well-managed. We stayed in an Infinite Veranda cabin, which was perfect for enjoying the spectacular fjord views. However, a quick note of advice: our cabin had a restricted view (looking up and forward), so if having an unobstructed view is important to you, it may be best to avoid cabins on Deck 12. Dining was a highlight of the cruise. We tried all four main dining restaurants and found both the food and service to be consistently excellent. The Oceanview Café (buffet) had a great variety at breakfast and lunch, and there was always seating available. The staff were quick to clear and clean tables, keeping everything running smoothly. We caught a few of the theatre shows—the comedian on the first night was a bit underwhelming, but the magician and the Rockumentary show were fantastic. We also loved the vibe in Eden—it became our favorite spot for pre-dinner drinks and a relaxing catch-up before the evening. We've previously cruised with Princess (among many others), and while it's a close call, we think Celebrity has the edge—pun fully intended! Highly recommend Celebrity Apex for anyone looking for a stylish, welcoming, and high-quality cruise experience—especially around the stunning Norwegian Fjords.

Fabulous ship and cruise
I was astounded to read negative reviews of this wonderful ship! We have sailed on the Eclipse, Silhouette and Constellation previously and were unsure if we would like the Apex. We certainly didn’t need to be concerned. This ship is very spacious and never felt crowded. Entertainment is available if you want it, but tucked away from areas where you can have peace and quiet. The staff in the Craft Social Bar knew our names and preferred drinks within 24 hours. Our cabin was a Concierge class on deck 11, always kept immaculate. We asked to change the rather strange canapés that are brought each afternoon to a cheese and fruit plate. This worked well. We tried each of the Main Dining restaurants in turn and eventually decided that the Tuscan was our favourite, so we arranged to eat there each night. The food and service was excellent. Not being early risers (to say the least!) we generally opt to skip breakfast and go for an early light lunch in the Oceanview Buffet. There are plenty of food choices to please everyone. Embarkation at Southampton was fantastic and we have no reason to expect anything less of disembarkation in two days time. I know there have been comments about the high price of drinks. All I can say is, if you like specialty coffees, teas, bottled water, a glass of wine and a couple of pre dinner drinks, just buy the classic drinks package, which is excellent value. We are sailing on Apex again in October, and are hopeful that we shall enjoy that as much as this sailing.
