Wonderful family spring break
Our first celebrity cruise did not disappoint. This was my wife’s 4th and my 8th cruise overall and we were very pleased with our overall experience. We travel with our friends, so in total there were 4 kids and 4 adults. We were traveling during spring break and the ship had a good amount of kids, nothing overwhelming (212 total this week). Pre cruise I couldn’t count the amount of comments that I read that celebrity was not a cruise for kids and to stick to RCL. This was primary due to this ship having an older crowd, no water slides, lack of a kids program and they would be bored. I cruised as a kid with no water slides and minimal kids program had had the time of my life. As did our kids. Having a pool with Buffett for breakfast and lunch in a warm climate was all that is needed. Embarkation was a breeze at port Canaveral. Quickest we have ever gotten on a ship. Service was fantastic, especially in dining room. The friendliness of the staff as well as fell cruise passengers surprised us. With it being an older crowd the conversations in the elevators started by other guests to our children were great to see. The ship overall was in good condition. I believe it went to a dry dock within the last year or so. We got the update drink package and not having to sign each time we ordered a drink was a game changer. Waits for a drink at bars were usually never more than a minute or two. Other than the pool during sea days and one day at the buffet for lunch we never felt the ship was crowded. Food overall we thought was good. Variety at the Buffett and the ability to order multiple appetizers or main dishes pleased everyone. Entertainment was fine. Kids loved the shows and again the interaction between the performers and the kids delighted us. We have been told for years to try celebrity and we are disappointed that we waited so long. They will be our go to / preferred cruise line weather traveling with kids or without kids.

Fantastic Cruise for Adults and Teens
We just returned from our cruise on the Equinox. Overall the experience was perfect for us. We brought our 15 and 23 year old with us. Our 15 year old connected with a nice (well behaved, seemingly responsible and fun) group of teens she hung out with most of the time. They were in and out of the teen club and she had good things to say about the activities and staff there. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which, if you can do it, do it! The room was amazing with more than enough space for the four of us. The suite staff (Kenneth was our butler and Tetiana was our statroom attendant) were attentive, amazing and very friendly. The Retreat concierges were also incredibly attentive and made every request a reality. One of the perks was the inclusive dining. We enjoyed Luminea, mostly for breakfast and two dinners. We went to Le Petit Chef but found it a bit gimicky. The food was good but we would probably skip it next time. Murano was incredible! The food, service and presentation were beyond compare. We ended up eating there three times and they were very accommodating of adding reservations for two nights we had not initially reserved. We are Jewish, and I requested Challah's for Shabbat which they brought to our table. The common areas were clean and comfortable. My wife and I spent most of our time at the Retreat sundeck. Our kids stayed by the pool which was more lively. Both areas were great. We really enjoyed the cruise and would not hesitate booking this ship again.
